Story
I left a 15-year IT career in the Saudi energy sector to sell holidays.
On paper it made no sense. A stable job in one of the strongest sectors in the Kingdom, traded for a startup in a market that shifts every season. But I had been building websites for 17 years, I could see a decade of growth ahead for Saudi tourism, and very few people understood both the technology and the travel business.
Today I lead technology, growth and operations at Otlaat, with a team of more than 20 and annual travel volume above SAR 50 million. Alongside it I never stopped building my own projects, because the fastest way I learn something new is to build it.
My method does not change. Start from the customer's question, build an answer they can find on Google or inside an AI assistant, and get them to a conversation with a human in as few steps as possible. Automate the rest.
